Depending on the number of entries, there may be two go- rounds, back to back, same performance, with no finals. If two go-rounds, the number of entries accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. Approximately 40 contestants will compete during each performance with the top 10 (will not exceed 10) advancing to a finals during each performance. (The payoff for the long go-round, the finals and the average will be determined by the highest scores from both combined performances). If there are not 10 qualified rides during a performance, all remaining positions will be filled by random draw. If the 10th contestant is tied going into the final round, the tie will be broken by the back judge. If he cannot break the tie, all tied contestants will draw chips to see who advances to the finals. ORDER OF SELECTION: 70% top money, 30% top circuit. NOTIFY PROCOM - Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2018 rodeo year, unless the contestant qualifies for a medical exemption. Contestants claiming medical exemptions must have been injured at least six (6) months during the 2018 rodeo year. Contestant must not have entered and paid fees at more than twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos or events held during the 2018 rodeo year. A letter from a licensed physician on doctor’s letterhead bearing the doctor’s name, address and phone number, must be received by the PRCA National Office prior to entry opening. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: PROCOM will establish an alternate list, based on 2019 money won (as of 7 days prior to entry closing). Only contestants drawn out due to qualifications or conflicts will be selected as alternates. Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X- Bulls event will not be used as an alternate. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may check-in with the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non- notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). STOCK DRAW: Selection of bulls for the finals will be accomplished by mutual agreement among the event representative, the primary tock contractor, and a judge designated by the Supervisor of Pro Officials. Contestants who qualify for the finals may be requested by the committee to draw their own animal from a hat containing poker chips inscribed with animals’ numbers in the arena or other designated area prior to the finals. This determination may be based on production factors. FINALS STOCK - The order of the bulls to be used in the finals of an Xbulls Event will be designated by the event representative and listed in order on the judges sheets prior to the first go- round of competition.
