Colton Farquer, a tie-down roper fromOakdale, Calif., has been putting in those hours and hard work to climb the rodeo ladder. Farquer, who is in his second season competing in the
PRCA, is third in the latest California Circuit Standings with $8,531. “This season has gone well and better than last year,” said Farquer, 24. “Every year, I learn more and more about competing and traveling and what it takes to do well. I’m doing a lot better in the circuit than I did last year, which is a bonus. I do like the circuit system. California, specifically in the spring time, has a lot of big rodeos that we can go to that count in our circuit and in the (PRCA | RAM) World Standings. I think it is a good system and
