BY MATT NABER C ompeting at the college level can be a nice stepping stone from high school rodeo to ProRodeo. With coaches and teammates on hand, cowboys get time to grow as athletes while earning a degree – often with scholarships that open doors they otherwise wouldn’t have had available. ProRodeo Sports News talked with a few college cowboys about doubling up the competition with college rodeo and riding in the PRCA. The College National Finals Rodeo runs June 11-15 in Casper, Wyo.
