XTREME BULLS

Rodeo with an 87-point ride on J Lazy. Harris was sitting 32nd in the RAM PRCAWorld Standings with $14,731 but moved up to 17th place in the April 30 RAMPRCAWorld Standings with $29,752 after earning $15,020 in Del Rio. He is seventh in the latest X Bulls standings. His X Bulls earnings in Del Rio moved him to the top of the Xtreme Bulls Tour career earnings list with $283,647. Harris took the lead from retired rider Kanin Asay, who won $279,990. “That money ($15,020) always helps,” Harris said. “I didn’t realize I had won that much money in my X Bulls career. X Bulls events have seemed to be good to me for the simple fact that you get to get on good bulls. One of my goals is that I did want to win the year-end deal and I got that done (in 2014), and there are just good bull ridings.” Harris joins the list of other 2018 Xtreme Bulls Division 1 event winners, which consists of Lane Nobles (Fort Worth, Texas), Josh Frost (San Antonio) and Sage Kimzey (Fort Mohave, Ariz.). Up next on the Xtreme Bulls Division 1 circuit is a stop in Reno, Nev. ( June 14). “I feel good and I’m

make sure I’m home for them because we are coaching both of their teams,” Harris said. “For the most part I’ve been sticking close to home and they each only have one game left, so now it will be rodeo time.” Harris doesn’t want to be away from his family as much as he has in the past. “That was a big reason why I came back to rodeoing, because I could make my own schedule and not miss anything that my kids are doing, and it has been good,” said Harris, 31. “I’m shooting to win a world championship. If that’s not what you’re shooting for, I don’t know why you would do it. You just need to get there (to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo). I feel like every time I show up I have a chance, and that’s the approach I’m going to take at it.” ProRodeoTV.com will air the George Paul Memorial Xtreme Bulls Division 1 event tape-delayed at 7 p.m. (MT), May 4-5. The listing of the broadcast can be found under the “In The Chute” section of ProRodeoTV. com. To subscribe to ProRodeoTV. com, go to http:/www.prorodeo. com/prorodeotv-subscribe.

riding good,” Harris said. “We’re getting into the summer, so it is time to start rockin’ and rollin’. This win (in Del Rio) helps my confidence a bunch. It’s going to take some pressure off going into the summer because I got bumped in the world standings. I know I’m looking forward to going to the rest of the (Division I) Xtreme Bulls events.” Harris has competed on a limited schedule during PRCA’s winter run so he could focus on his family.
