Greeley Stampede seeking applications for 2020 HOF

The Greeley (Colo.) Stampede’s Hall of Fame has recognized the most influential individuals that have had a significant impact on the success of the event. To continue the tradition, the Greeley Stampede is accepting applications for the 2020 Hall of Fame class. Inductees into the Hall of Fame may include volunteers, affiliated organizations, contract The Wrights, one of ProRodeo’s most well-known families, was featured on CBS’ “60 Minutes” Nov. 3, and can still be seen online. The news show filmed the Wrights during the 2019 season at their home in Milford, Utah, and at rodeos, including the Pony Express Rodeo in Eagle Mountain, Utah. Among those featured in the piece is Cody Wright, who won world titles in 2008 and 2010. Cody’s son Ryder won the 2017 world title and will be entering the 2019 Wrangler NFR in the top spot in the PRCA | RAM World Standings. Nominations will be open until Dec. 31. Inductees to the 2020 Hall of Fame will be selected by a review committee and announced in February. Tallman charity bowling tourney on tap

The Bob Tallman charity bowling tournament will again take place during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. This year’s tournament is scheduled to be at the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Dec. 7. Registration opens at 10:30 a.m. (PT). For the past 11 years, Tallman has hosted the tournament during the Wrangler NFR. The

tournament raises money for Speedway Children’s Charities and the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund. The JCCF also will have its Silent Auction at the South Point Hotel & Casino Exhibit Hall, Dec. 3-4. It will be Dec. 3 from 12:30-4 p.m. (PT) and Dec. 4 from 12:30-4:30 p.m. with the auction ending and check out beginning at 3 p.m. All proceeds benefit the JCCF.

Gooding Rodeo supports TETWP campaign

Late in October, the Gooding (Idaho) Pro Rodeo Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign presented North Canyon Medical Center with a $10,650 check from the 2019 Gooding Pro Rodeo Tough Enough to Wear Pink Luncheon and Auction. With the money, NCMC will be ordering new

SmartCurve Technology. These new curved plates will integrate with the 3D technology already in place and be more ergonomically comfortable for the patient. This new upgrade is only possible because of the support and generosity from the rodeo community.
