ALL EVENTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Fri., Jan. 18 between 9 AM and 12 PM. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. TRADE DEADLINE - Thurs., Jan. 17 at 5 PM. All confirmed trades will be final and will be processed immediately after both involved parties have confirmed through PROCOM. ALL EVENTS - There will be an extended grace period for those contestants who are entered and meet qualifications to change preferences Thurs., Jan. 10 between 3 and 5 PM. All contestants must sign a release of liability and other forms provided by the Rodeo Secretary before competing. All contestants must wear back number provided by Rodeo Secretary while competing, which will also permit entrance into the Coliseum. For security reasons, contestants will likely be asked for identification. Back numbers must be visible at all times to gain entry behind the bucking chutes, arena alleys and the rodeo arena. If the contestant is wearing a jacket or vest, the back number must be pinned to the outside of the jacket. TE CONTESTANTS - No contestants will be permitted in the rodeo arena for any reason beginning 30 minutes prior to the rodeo until the rodeo begins. ALL CONTESTANTS - Enter the grounds via Trail Drive and W.R. Watt Drive (Gate 35). From Gate 35, proceed to Burnett Tandy Drive. FWSSR Staff will provide further directions on parking at this point. Unload horses and tack in stalls provided. Trailers must be moved immediately to the remote trailer parking lot. Trailer parking lot is secured 24 hours a day. Any trailer unhooked from vehicle within the show grounds will be towed at owner’s expense. Vehicles will park in Justin Lot on Coliseum grounds. No trucks and trailers may remain on the grounds overnight. No overnight camping on show grounds. RV Hookups will be available at no charge in RV Lot, Gate 52 for a maximum period of 24 hours around the contestant’s scheduled performance. Hazers not entered will obtain credentials from the rodeo secretary. ALL CONTESTANTS WITH HORSES - Must have Certificate of Veterinary Inspection issued within thirty (30) days and Negative Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) test, also known as a “Coggins” Test, within the past twelve (12) months. Proof of Coggins Test must be presented in either the original document or copy of the original document that has been approved by the Texas Animal Health Commission. Test date, accession number and name of laboratory must be listed on the Certificate of Veterinary Inspection. Exemption: Equine may enter shows, fairs, exhibitions or assemblies without a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection when accompanied by a valid equine interstate passport or equine identification card and a completed VS Form 10-11 showing negative results to an official EIA test within the previous six (6) months. STALLS - Contestants shall stall their horses in stalling area set aside for rodeo contestants. If demand of stalls exceeds supply of stalls, contestants must go to the Horse Show Office where they will be assigned a stall(s) for their use. Stalls will be available at no charge for a maximum period of 24 hours

around the contestant’s performance. Horses must be stalled in assigned stalls. Horses are not to be stalled in livestock pens. RE - Stock for performances will be drawn at three different times. Times will be determined after entries close and number of go-rounds are determined. Stock will be drawn at least 72 hours prior to competition. Re-rides for each performance will be drawn from a pool of re-ride animals. (Ft. Worth re-ride policy will be posted in rodeo secretary’s office). QUALIFICATIONS: BB - 90 minimum entries. No compensation. Three go- rounds. Back to back to back. If less than 90, there will be an option for four go’s. If four go-rounds, 1st and 2nd will be back to back, 3rd and 4th will be back to back. Trades will be allowed for the 3rd go, if the 3rd go is traded the 4th must also be traded accordingly to remain back to back. Trades must be made by the trade deadline set by the rodeo secretary. W/F’s (12). $5000 held out for finals. No slack. EF’s $300 if 3/ $400 if 4. SB - 140 minimum entries. No compensation. Two go- rounds, back to back. If less than 140 entries, there will be an option to drop limit to 100 minimum entries with three go-rounds, back to back to back. If less than 90 there will be an option to add a progressive go-round. W/F’s (12). $5000 held out for finals. No slack. EF’s $200 if 2/ $300 if 3. BR - 168 minimum entries. No compensation. Two go-rounds back to back perf to perf. If less than 168 entries, the limit may be lowered to 112 contestants with three go-rounds, back to back to back. W/F’s (12). $5000 to be held out for finals. No slack. EF’s $200 plus $100 DM ($50 DM each go) if two; $150 plus $150 DM ($50 DM each go) if three. TD & SW - 200 minimum entries. W/F’s (12). Two (2) go-rounds, 8 contestants per performance. TR - 112 minimum entries. No compensation. 8 teams per performance. Two go-rounds back to back. W/F’s (12). No slack. Only two loops allowed. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT - 35 minimum entries. One go-round. May be two go- rounds, back to back, same performance, depending on the number of entries. If two go-rounds the number of contestants accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. IN ORDER OF SELECTION - 70% top money - 30% top circuit. the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2018 rodeo year, unless the contestant qualifies for a medical exemption. Contestants claiming medical exemptions must have been injured at least six (6) months during the 2018 rodeo year. Contestant must not have entered and paid fees at more than twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2018 rodeo year. A letter from a licensed physician on doctor’s letterhead bearing the doctor’s name, address and phone number must be received by the PRCA Nation Office prior to entry opening. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at the X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls event. (The performance at Rapid City rodeo on Jan. 26 will not be considered a conflict). CHECK-IN - Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES - Alternates will be selected from a list established by PROCOM based on 2018 money won. (Only contestants who were drawn out due to qualifications or conflicts will be selected as alternates). A contestant who is place in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant notifies a turn-out or a VIR and is replaced by an alternate, the alternate contestant will be responsible for the entry fees. The rodeo will not count toward the official rodeo count for the turned-out contestant. If the contestant that notified the turn-out or VIR is not replaced by an alternate, he will be responsible for the entry fees and the rodeo will count towards the official rodeo count. Any non-notified turn-out will be responsible for entry fees and the rodeo will count towards the official rodeo count, even if they are replaced. The alternate will also be responsible for entry fees. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re-ride(s). PAY-OFF - 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with results. The pay- off will be determined on the highest marked scores. NOTE - In order to money won in Xtreme Bulls Competition (including Division 2 qualifying events) to count for the 2019 National Finals Rodeo or the 2019 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2019 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for PRCA World Standings and Xtreme Bulls Standings. It will not count for All Around standings, All American standings, circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count.
