I learned what I needed to do to be better (in 2023).” Webb will be riding one of his two horses at the NFR – Boots, 14, or Rudy, 10. “I didn’t own either of those horses until this year,” Webb said. “Boots is the horse I rode all this winter and Rudy is the one I bought in August and rode in the Northwest.” Webb won 14 rodeo titles in the 2023 regular season, including a $50,000 payday at RodeoHouston
in March.
“I had a great winter, and I wouldn’t say a great summer, but it was pretty solid,” said Webb, who won Denver in January. “I didn’t win a lot of firsts in the summer, but I placed and won a lot of good checks and in the Northwest, I had a couple of big wins and a couple big wins this winter. The horsepower has definitely changed my game from last year to this year. I have upped my game.”
