SPON SPECIAL ENTRY FEES: BB-$225; SB-$225; BR- $225; TD-$225; SW-$225; TR-$225; SR-$225 PERMITS: ; CIR - BB SB BR TD SW TR SR GROUND RULES: Only actual contestant with back numbers and companions with tickets will be admitted to rodeo. Total money above is committee purse of $3,500, estimated PRCA matching funds of $3,000, estimated sponsor dollar amount of $9,959, estimated circuit dollar of $4,157. Total money above for SR includes minimum committee purse of $3,000 estimated PRCA matching funds of $3,000, estimated sponsor dollar amount of $7,777, estimated circuit dollar amount of $1,000. ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Mon., Dec. 17 between 9 AM and 12 PM. Re-entries will be accepted if the number of entries for an event at the original entry closing time is less than limit defined in the ground rules. If more contestants enter during the “re- entry” period than there are positions available, the contestants accepted will be based on the qualification procedures defined in the Circuit Finals ground rules. Under no circumstances will a contestant who entered during the re- entry period be able to displace a contestant who entered during the original entry period. If a contestant TO’s or DR’s prior to the “re-entry” period, that position may be filled during the “re-entry” period. ALL CONTESTANTS - Contestants enter through Gate 10 on Lake Air Drive to park. Contestants will check-in with secretary at the Extraco Events Center to pay fees and pick-up packets (back numbers, jackets, meeting schedules, etc.) between 4 and 5:30 PM on Thurs., Jan. 3. Back STALLS - TD, TR will receive one free stall; SW will be given stalls accordingly. Any other horses or extras will be charged $15 per stall, per night. Shavings for sale on site. No outside shavings are allowed. TR - Only two loops allowed . SR - Top 12. Three go-rounds held Friday, Jan. 4 at 9 AM. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. (The misdraw procedure will not be used). $45 stock charge per go-round. STOCK CONTRACTORS - RE stock and TE cattle must be present at the Extraco Events Center no later than 3 PM on Wed., Jan. 2, 2019. TE - Cattle will be prepared and run through on Wed, Jan. 2. TR - 3:00 - 3:45 PM; SW - 3:45 - 4:30 PM; TD - 4:30 - 6:00 PM. TE - If a timed event animal escapes (or a re-run is given for any other reason) the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into the herd. RIDING EVENT CONTESTANTS - Will vote for stock of The Year when entering. ALL EVENTS - Will pay four places in the go- round and the average. ALL EVENTS - If a contestant turns out in a go-round, contestant must turn out the next go- round (does not apply to VIR). To receive Texas Circuit generated year-end awards, contestants must enter and compete in all go-rounds of The Ram Texas Circuit Finals unless valid doctor release is received through PRCA. ALL CONTESTANTS WITH HORSES - Must have proof of current Coggins Test and health papers. The 60 contestants or teams who entered and qualified for National Western Stock Show are not eligible to enter the qualifier. TD, SW, TR - Two go-rounds. The first go-round will be run on Wed., Dec. 19 at 8 AM. The second go-round will be run on Thurs., Dec. 20 at 8 AM at the National Western Events Center located at 1515 E. 47th Avenue, Denver, CO QUALIFICATIONS: TD - 145 minimum entries. TD, SW, TR - 40 qualifying contestants or teams from the qualifier will be placed in the performances at the Denver National Western Rodeo, along with the 60 contestants (or teams) already entered. The 40 qualifying contestants or teams will be top ten from the first go-round (plus splits), the top ten from the second go- round that have not already qualified from the first go- round (plus splits), and the remaining positions (not to exceed 40) will be filled from the fastest times in the average. If there are ties, the contestant (or teams) with the single fastest time will fill the highest ranked position. If ties cannot be broken, all ties will be accepted. All 100 contestants (or teams) that qualify for the Denver National Western Rodeo will have a grace period to change preferences and/or buddy groups on Thurs., Dec. 27, between 8:30 AM and 2 PM. For a contestant to advance from the qualifier to the rodeo, his 2019 membership renewal must be current by Thurs., December 27 at 2 PM. TD, SW - $30 stock charge for cards and permits. Payoff per rulebook. TR - $15 stock charge per man for cards and permits. Payoff per rulebook. TE - The qualifier and the National Western Rodeo performances will each count as separate rodeos.
