In 2001, Wrangler stepped up its presence even more in rodeo when it became the title sponsor of the National Finals Rodeo. Wrangler also has been the title sponsor of the National Finals Breakaway Roping since the inaugural year of the NFBR in 2020. “Being the title sponsor of the NFR makes us very proud,” Chadwick said. “It is the premier event in the Western industry, so to have your named tied to it for 20 years makes a strong statement of the partnership between the PRCA andWrangler.” Wrangler also is a supporter of hundreds of PRCA rodeos across North America, and Wrangler®WesternWear outfits the greatest ProRodeo athletes in the world and offers the official competition jeans of the PRCA&WPRA. “We sponsor probably 150 PRCA rodeos across the country that we have been involved with for a long time,” Chadwick said. “We’ve been involved with the big ones like Cheyenne and Calgary and Pendleton and Reno and Salinas to the smaller rodeos. “We have also expanded our product line to meet the consumer needs which retro and stretch denim and different fabrics, different finishes, different fits. But the backbone was the ProRodeo jean (13MWZ), which we still have today.” In addition, the Wrangler National Patriot™program supports American veterans, first responders, and families and in 2022 will resume its 11th year of hosting the Wrangler National Patriot Memorial tour, bringing cowboys and cowgirls to visit American troops across the globe. Wrangler also is building on its dedication to rodeo & western lifestyle events through the Wrangler Network, a mobile and online centralized hub for live-streamed PRCA events, PRCA news and western lifestyle content.
