Riley Minor has qualified for the National Finals Rodeo every year while competing on RK Tuff Trinket,

Where is Bob from? He came from about 40 miles down the road from a guy named Bob Moriarty near Selah, Wash. I’d seen him (Bob the horse) and knew he was a nice horse, but I didn’t know he would be that good. He wasn’t always for sale, but I tried him for a month and bought him in 2013. How did RK Tuff Trinket get his nickname, Bob? I name my horses after the people I buy them from. Has Bob competed in other ProRodeo events? No, but there is a funny story from when I was picking him up to try him out. I’ve never roped calves on him, but he’s dang-sure been hazed on before. What makes Bob special? Oh, man, it’s just the grit and toughness he has, it reminds you of a war horse. A lot of guys ride him in different setups. Other horses get sore and tired, but he’s one of a kind where you can ride him throughout the year. He’s had some minor injuries, but he’s good at theThomas and Mack (Center in Las Vegas) and at Cheyenne (Wyo.) Frontier Days. He’s good in any situation. Is Bob’s personality different from other horses? He’s a strange horse, that’s what keeps him young. Sometimes he won’t let you catch him – he might run circles around me when

getting ready for a rodeo. But, when I put my daughter (Monroe) on him, he is really quiet. He has a mind of his own. He’s not the lovey-dovey kind, he is all business. I will say he loves his Renew Gold grain, he will run you over for that grain most of the time.
