COMPETITION FORMAT: SB, BR - 50 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. Approximately 25 contestants in each event will compete each performance. May be two go-rounds back to back, same performance, depending on the number of entries. If two go-rounds, the number of entries excepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. CONTESTANT SELECTION FORMULA: SB - 70% from top money, 20% from top circuit, 10% top first year. No compensation. No slack. No exemptions. BR - 80% top money, 10% top circuit, 10% top first year. No compensation. No slack. No exemptions. NOTIFY PROCOM - A contestant will not be accepted as an entry or as an alternate at this event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as this event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. The check-in deadline for alternates to be considered as “walk-up replacements” at this event is 1 hour prior to start of the event. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns-out after stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. HONEST EFFORT - At any event, a contestant must make an honest effort to compete on the stock drawn for such contestant. If in the opinion of the judge, the contestant has the opportunity to not for the bronc or bull and does not, the contestant will be disqualified. The determination of the judge will be final. RE-RIDES: After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used prior to using the designated re- ride(s). PAY-OFF: SB, BR: 6% of the total purse will be deducted prior to the pay-off. NOTE - In order for money won in this competition to count for the 2018 National Finals Rodeo or the 2018 Rookie of the Year standings, during the 2018 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for the PRCA World standings. Money won in the BR at this event will count towards 2019 Xbulls standings. In all events money won will not count for All Around, All American, or circuit standings. The event will not be applied to the contestants required circuit standings, as long as the contestant has satisfied his required circuit participation count. In the SB, money won will not count towards circuit standings. EF’s: SB - $165 plus $35 Central Entry Office/Supplemental Insurance fee.
