SPECIAL ENTRY FEES: BB-$100; SB-$100; BR-$100 PERMITS: BB SB BR GROUND RULES: ALL EVENTS - The “30-hour replacement” and “walk-up replacement” policies will be in effect. The deadline for “walk-up replacement” will be one hour prior to the performance. The alternate list will be based on 2018 PRCA World Standings. The alternate will compete on the animal that is drawn for the contestant the he is replacing. ALL EVENTS - Re-entries will be accepted on Tues., Feb., 19 between 9 AM and 12 PM for any available positions. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB, BR - 12 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. (See R1.2.13.4. and R1.2.14 for qualifications). One go-round with the first and second place contestants each performance advancing to a bonus round during that same performance. If the first and/or second place contestant declines advancement to the bonus round, the contestant with the next highest score will advance (if the next highest score is tied, a flip of a coin will determine who advances). If there are 8 or less entries per performance at the time that the entries close, the committee has the option to cancel the event or have two go-rounds, back to back, same performance. PAY-OFF: The long go-round will be paid off per the rulebook. $1,000 per performance will be held out of the total purse for the bonus round(s). Winner takes all in the bonus round(s). If there are no qualified rides in an event in the bonus round, $500 (of the $1,000) will be added back to the pay- off for the long go-round, and $500 will be split between the two qualifiers for the bonus round. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn 3 hours prior to each performance by the judges. Re-rides and the re- ride order will be designated by the stock contractor. Any animal turned-out in a performance will automatically become the first re-ride prior to using the designated re-rides. If more than one animal is turned-out in a performance, a random draw will determine which animal will be the first re-ride. The bonus round stock will be designated by the stock contractor and no re-rides will be given during the bonus round for inferior performance. In order for money won at this event to count for qualifying for the 2019 National Finals Rodeo or the 2019 Rookie of the Year Standings, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won at this event will not count for All Around Standings, circuit standings, or towards a

Antonio in 2020 and 2021. COMPETITION FORMAT - One 36 contestant go- round with top 8 finals (will not exceed 8). If there are not 8 qualified rides, all remaining positions will be filled by random draw by the judges. If the 8th qualifier is tied going into the final round, the tie will be broken by the back judge. If he cannot break the tie, all tied contestants will draw chips to see who advances to the finals. QUALIFICATIONS: 36 maximum entries. No compensation. No exemptions. No slack. No entry fees. Of the 50 bull riding contestants who qualify and enter the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, a total of thirty-six (36) contestants will be eligible for the Division 1 Xtreme Bulls Event on Feb. 23. The twenty (20) contestants who advance to Semi-finals 1 and Semi-finals II will automatically qualify for the Xtreme Bulls competition. The next sixteen (16) highest money earners from the 2019 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo PRCA Rodeo Bull Riding will qualify for the Xtreme Bulls competition. If not enough contestants earn money in the PRCA rodeo to qualify for the Xtreme Bulls competition, remaining positions will be filled based on 2018 PRCA World Standings. Contestants will not be allowed to enter the Xtreme Bulls if they did not qualify for the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. Any contestants who turns-out of any go-round or semi-final without a valid doctor release or visible injury release will not be allowed to compete in the Xtreme Bulls Event. In the event a contestant injured while competing in the regular bracket system at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo and has a valid doctor’s release, he will still be eligible to compete in the San Antonio’s Div. 1 Xtreme Bulls if he qualifies. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: Alternates will be selected from a list established by PROCOM based on 2018 money won. The 14 contestants who were accepted as entries for the San Antonio Rodeo but were not accepted for the X-bulls Event will be the first alternates to be considered based on 2018 money won. Next on the alternate list will be contestants who were drawn out of the rodeo due to qualifications based on their 2018 money won. A contestant who is placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event that conflicts with the San Antonio Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. A contestant who had originally entered and was eligible at the time of entry may check-in with or call the arena secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm his availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant notifies a turn-out and is replaced by an alternate, the event will not count for the official rodeo count for the turned-out contestant. If he is not replaced the event will count towards the official rodeo count. In the case of a non- notified turn-out, the event will count towards the official rodeo count. If a contestant turns-out of a Div. 1 event after the stock draw and a replacement is not found, he will be charged a $500 turn-out fine. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn at least 48 hours prior to the event. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns- out after stock callbacks, whether the contestant is replaced or not. After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re-ride(s). In the event that more re-rides are awarded than there are re-rides drawn, additional re-rides will be drawn from the animals in that pen (R10.3.4.3.3). FINALS STOCK: The order of the bulls to be used in the finals of an X-bulls event will be designated by the Bull Stock Manager and listed in order on the judges sheets prior to the first go- round of competition.

If there are not ten qualified rides during the first go- round, all remaining positions will be filled by random draw. If the 10th place is tied going into the finals, the tie will be broken by random draw. QUALIFICATIONS: Based on 2018 blended CPRA and PRCA standings as of October 1, 2018. If the qualifications are not filled by contestants with dollars won leaving open positions; the remaining openings will be filled by a random draw of card holders. If there are still open positions, all remaining openings will be filled by a random draw of permit holders with zero dollars. If there are less than 22 entries the committee reserves the right to change the format to a 2 head with an aggregate. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant notifies a turn-out, DR or visible release and is replaced by an alternate, the alternate contestant will be responsible for the entry fees. If the contestant that notified the turn- out or visible release is not replaced by an alternate, he will be responsible for the entry fee. If a contestant property doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees. CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted through CRES. In the event that there are not enough qualified rides in the first go-round, a random draw back list will be used to select contestants to fill the remaining positions in the finals. Contestants who did not have a qualified score in the first go-round and are drawn back to compete in the finals, will not be eligible to place in the average. Money won by any contestant in the finals will count towards PRCA World standings, PRCA Xtreme Bulls standings, and PRCA Rookie of the Year standings provided that the contestant entered and competed in a minimum of 40 PRCA rodeos. NOTE: In order for money won at an Xtreme Bulls competition to count for the 2019 National Finals Rodeo or the 2019 Rookie of the Year standings, during the 2019 season a contestant must have competed at a minimum of 40 PRCA rodeos.
