TEXAS-SIZED COMPETITION

RodeoHouston is back in the fold with the PRCA for the first time since 2010, and many of 2019’s competitors recall winning big at this iconic Texas rodeo. Team ropers Chad Masters and Jade Corkill placed second in the Shootout Round and earned a total of $21,600 each at RodeoHouston in 2010. That same year, saddle bronc rider Wade Sundell placed second in the Shootout Round and earned $20,500. Masters has won $12,025 in the 2019 season, so if he wins the same amount at Houston this year he’d already be about halfway to qualifying for the 2019Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, assuming the Top 15 cutoff remains the same.
