If a contestant notifies a turn-out (or a VIR) and is replaced by an alternate, the alternate contestant will be responsible for the entry fees. The rodeo will not count toward the official rodeo count for the turned-out contestant. If the contestant that notified the turn-out (or VIR) is not replaced by an alternate, he will be responsible for the entry fees and the rodeo will count towards the official rodeo count.
