Cowboys Association he began competing nationally in professionally sanctioned rodeos. He met his wife of 60 years, Mabel Evans Adams, at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Adams won or placed at almost every major RCA rodeo in the U.S. in tie-down roping. The late Ray Wharton, 1956 PRCA world champion tie-down roper, was Logan’s mentor. Adams was inducted into the Bell County Cowboy/Cowgirl Hall of Fame and Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame. He found love and a Christian family at the 3CCowboy Fellowship in Salado, Texas. Adams was preceded in death by his sister, E’von Adams Porter; and parents Johnny James Adams and Susan Carpenter Adams. He is survived by daughter Merrill Adams Ellis; son, John Adams; son, Jimmy Adams; niece, Nancy Craddock; and grandsons Brent Angermiller and Jake Adams. Other family members include: Dr. Jay Ellis, Leon Goetz, Mike and TJ Craddock, and numerous cousins.

A celebration of life will take place at 11:45 a.m. (CT), March 29, at the 3CCowboy Fellowship, 16258 Gooseneck Road Salado, Texas.
