“Smoke” owner Brad Lands Smoke hit the ProRodeo scene in the spring of 2018 and now at 12 years old, the 15.1 hands tall, 1,200-pound American Quarter Horse gelding has caught the eye of ropers and spectators alike by winning the San Antonio (Texas) Stock Show & Rodeo. DT Sugar Chex Whiz “Sugar” owner Dixon Flowers QH On her first year of ProRodeo competition, this 1,100-pound, 9-year-oldmare proved that good things come in small packages, standing at 14.2 hands tall. Sugar took Billie Jack Saebens to the winners’circle at several rodeos in 2019, including the Rooftop Rodeo (Estes Park, Colo.), Lawton (Okla.) Rangers Rodeo and the Gooding (Idaho) Pro Rodeo.“She’s easy, adapts to every situation and is as good in smaller setups as she is in longer deals,” Saebens said.“That’s a hard transition to make, but she’s super adaptable andwill do whatever you need her to do.”
