BY MATT NABER B ringing people together with some of the best athletes in America made ProRodeo the perfect candidate for kicking off the three- city GoodWill Tour of America for the USSR’s Olympic gymnastics team in 1987. “Rodeo is for sure America’s true sport, and the only sport in the world derived from an industry and it was the American cattle industry,” said J.C. Trujillo, who competed in the exhibition rodeo’s bareback riding. “Rodeo is international now, but it originated right here in our country.” The national gymnastics teams from the United States and the Soviet Union joined 4,000 fans for an exhibition rodeo on April 28,
