BY TRACY RENCK A s a kid, Kade Bruno saw all the rodeo photos hanging on the wall of his father. Kade’s father, Mike, was a PRCA bull rider, and that inspired Kade to follow in his dad’s footsteps. Though not down the exact same path.

“I watched him and heard all the stories about him competing, and we watched rodeos on TV and he always had horses,” said Kade, a native of Challis, Idaho. “So, I kind of grew up into rodeo. He let me choose whether I wanted to ride broncs or bulls.” The younger Bruno opted for saddle bronc riding and is trying to make a name for himself in the PRCA.
