GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT: 40 minimum entries. May be two go-rounds, back to back, same performance depending on the number of entries. If two go- rounds the number of entries accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. CONTESTANT SELECTION FORMULAS DIV 2: - 70% top money - 30% top circuit. NOTIFY PROCOM : Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2018 rodeo year. No medical exemptions will be accepted for events whose entries close on or after July 15th. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: Alternates will be selected based on 2019 money won (as of 7 days prior to entry closings). Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as with the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. may check in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non- notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used prior to using the designated re- ride(s). PAY-OFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. ALL NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls competition (including division 2 qualifying events) to count for the 2019 National Finals Rodeo or the 2019 Rookie of the year Standings, during the 2019 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of 40 (forty) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for PRCA World Standings and Xtreme Bulls Standings. It will not count for All Around standings, circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count. GROUND RULES: ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Thurs., Aug. 1 between 9 AM and 11 AM. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT: 24 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. One go-round with a Top 8 finals. CONTESTANT SELECTION FORMULA: 70% top money, 20% top circuit, 10% top first year. No exemptions. ALL CONTESTANTS - A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Broncs Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event during the same performance as the X- Broncs Event. The check-in deadline for alternates to be considered as “walk-up replacements” at Xtreme Broncs Events is 1 hour prior to start of the event. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns-out after stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. Contestants who qualify for the finals may be requested by the committee to draw their own animal from a hat containing poker chips inscribed with animals’ number in the arena or other designated area prior to the finals. This determination may be based on production factors. PAY-OFF: 6% of total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with results. Of the remaining purse 60% of the total purse will be allocated to the long go-round, pays 8 places, 40% of the total purse will be allocated to the final go-rounds, pays 4 places. There will be no average pay-off. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH RULEBOOK. NOTE: Money won at Xtreme Broncs Events will count towards X-Broncs Standings which will be used for qualifying for the finale in Rapid City on Aug., 22, 2019. It will count towards qualification for the 2019 National Finals Rodeo and the 2019 Rookie of the Year Standings, as long as the contestant has entered and competed in a minimum of 40 PRCA rodeos. Money won will also count for Circuit Standings as long as the contestant has satisfied his required circuit participation count. X- Broncs events are not applied to the required circuit participation count. Money won at this event will not count towards All Around Standings. STK. CONT.: VARIOUS
