The first two go-rounds will run during slack on Aug. 16 at 8 AM. The first 10 in the progressive will be run during the slack and the final 8 in the progressive will be run during the performance. Contestants may trade positions in the progressive go-round (to accommodate conflicts with the progressive go-round at Billings). Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2018 rodeo year. No medical exemptions will be accepted for events whose entries close on or after July 15th. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: Only contestants that were drawn out due to qualifications or conflicts will be selected as alternates. Alternates will be selected based on 2019 money won (as of 7 days prior to entry closings). Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant notifies a turn-out or V.I.R and is replaced by an alternate, the alternate contestant will be responsible for the entry fees. The rodeo will not count toward the official rodeo count for the turned-out contestant. If the contestant that notified the turn-out or V.I.R is not replaced by an alternate, he will be responsible for the entry fees and the rodeo will count towards the official rodeo count. Any non- notified turn-out will be responsible for entry fees and the rodeo will count towards the official rodeo count, even if he is replaced. The alternate will also be responsible for entry fees. If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that have been notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used prior to using the designated re-ride(s). PAY-OFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. Pay-off will be determined on highest marked scores. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULEBOOK. NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls competition (including Division 2 qualifying events) to count for the 2019 National Finals Rodeo or the 2019 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2019 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for PRCA World Standings and Xtreme Bulls Standings. It will not count All Around, circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count.
