PERMITS: BR GROUND RULES: ALL EVENTS - The “30-hour” and “walk-up replacement” policies will be in effect. The check-in deadline for this event will be one hour prior to the performance. ALL CONTESTANT - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Mon., Sept. 26 between 9 AM and 11 AM. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT - 40 minimum entries. One go-round with top 12 finals (will not exceed 12). If there are not 12 qualified rides, all remaining positions will be filled by random draw (by the judges). If the 12th contestant is tied going into final round the tie will be broken by the back judge. If he cannot break the tie, all tied contestants will draw chips to see who advances to the finals. If less than 30 entries, will be two go-rounds with no finals. QUALIFICATIONS: - 70% top money - 30% top circuit. No exemptions. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: Alternates will be selected from a list established by PROCOM based on 2022 money won, as of 7 days prior to entry closing. Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event that conflicts with the X-Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the perf to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non- notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns out after the stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. Contestants who qualify for the finals may be requested by the committee to draw their own animal from a hat containing poker chips inscribed with animals’ numbers in the arena or other designated area prior to the finals. This determination may be based on production factors. FINALS STOCK: The order of the bulls to be used in the finals of an Xbulls Event will be randomly drawn by the judges and listed in order on the judges’ sheets prior to the first go-round of competition. The contestant with the lowest score will be listed first and the contestant with the highest score will be listed last with an animal already designated to the position. the order of any ties will be determined by a random draw by the judges. RE-RIDES: After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used prior to using the designated re- ride(s). PAY-OFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. Pay-off will be determined on highest marked

ATTENTION: The top six money winners in the steer roping event from the Bellville, TX, Hempstead, TX, and Edna, TX (combined total money) who enter and who have not already been accepted as entries among the top 24 who entered the San Angelo Roping Fiesta, based on 2022 PRCA World Steer Roping Standings, will be accepted as entries at the San Angelo Roping Fiesta. if ties result in more than six to advance, the tied contestant with the highest ranking in the 2022 World Standings will advance. Money won by any contestant in the finals will count toward PRCA World standings (provided the contestant has entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos), Xtreme Bulls Tour standings, and Rookie of the Year standings. Money won by a drawn back contestant in the finals will not count toward All Around standings, circuit standings, or toward a circuit rodeo count. NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls competition to count for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or the 2022 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2022 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for PRCA World standings and Xtreme Bulls standings. It will count for All Around standings, and circuit standings, nor will the event be applied to a contestants required participation count.
