ATTENTION ALL CONTESTANTS - The champion in each event from the 2022 Waller County Fair and Rodeo in Hempstead, TX and the champion in each event from the Fort Bend County Fair and Rodeo in Rosenberg, TX will be accepted as entries at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Contestants must enter Houston through PROCOM to be accepted. If co-champions exist, only one entry will be accepted as an entry at Houston. The tied contestant with the highest ranking in the 2022 PRCA World Standings will be accepted for the position at Houston. In the Team Roping, if co-champions exist, only one header and one heeler will be accepted. the tied header and the tied heeler with the highest ranking in the 2022 PRCA World Standings will be accepted as an entry for Houston even if that qualified header and heeler were not partners at the qualifying rodeo(s). If the same contestant (or team) is the champion at both qualifying rodeos, he will be accepted as the champion of one of the qualifying rodeos and the position reserved for the champions of the other qualifying rodeo will be filled by the next highest ranked contestant who enters based on 2022 PRCA World Standings. arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES - Alternates will be selected based on 2022 money won. Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event that conflicts with the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non- notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out(includes TO’s, DR’s, & VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re-ride(s). PAYOFF - 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the payoff and sent in with the results. Payoff will be determined on highest marked scores. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH RULEBOOK. NOTE - In order for money won in the Xtreme Bulls competition to count for the 2022 National Finals Rodeo or the 2022 Rookie of the Year standings, during the 2022 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) rodeos. Money won will count for 2022 PRCA World standings and 2023 Xtreme Bulls standings. It will not count for All Around standings, circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count.
