Stanolind Road PERFS: 2 Perfs: April 13-12:00 PM; April 14-12:00 PM EVENTS: SR @ $10000 SPECIAL ENTRY FEES: SR-$800 PERMITS: SR GROUND RULES: GRACE PERIOD - Will be one hour after the entries close . SR - 4 go-rounds, the first 2 go-rounds will be run during the performance on April 13 at 12pm, and the 3rd and 4th go-rounds will be run during the performance on April 14th at 12pm. Only the first 3 contestants in each go-round will be required to run in order. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. The misdraw procedure will not be used. $60 stock charge per go-round. Contestants are required to compete in the steer roping event at a minimum of 15 PRCA rodeos for the money at this event to count towards 2024 World Standings or the 2024 Rookie of the Year standings. Money will count towards circuit standings and rodeo will count towards a contestant’s required circuit participation count. Money won at this event will not count towards All Around standings. STK. Stanolind Road PERFS: 2 Perfs: April 13-12:00 PM; April 14-12:00 PM EVENTS: SR SPECIAL ENTRY FEES: SR-$400 PERMITS: SR GROUND RULES: Contestants who choose to enter the Legacy Steer Roping event must be at least 50 years old or a permit holder at the time of entry closing. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Steer Roping Event in Hobbs. To be eligible, the contestant must not have been an NFSR qualifier during the past three years. Permit members of all ages will also be eligible to enter. Contestants will pay entry fees of $400. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the Steer Roping Event in Hobbs will be used to determine the pay-off. Pay-off will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the pay-off. Only the four go-rounds and the average after four go-rounds will be included in the pay-off for the Legacy Steer Roping. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, circuit standings, All Around standings, or for money won qualifications. GROUND RULES: ALL CONTESTANTS - The “30 hour replacement” and “walk-up replacement” policies will be in effect. COMPETITION FORMAT: 30 minimum entries. One go-round with top 10 finals (will not exceed 10). (There may be the option of two go-rounds back-to-back, same performance with no finals depending on the number of entries at the committee’s request). If two go-rounds, the number of entries accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed 20 entries. If there are not 10 qualified rides, all remaining positions will be filled by random draw (by the judges). If the 10th contestant is tied going into the final round, the tie will be broken by the back judges. If he cannot break the tie, all tied contestants will draw chips to see who advances to the finals. QUALIFICATIONS: 100% top money. No exemptions.
