Contestants must also be entered in the Steer Roping event at Levelland on February 5 and 6. To be eligible, the contestant must be a card member (no permits). Contestants will pay additional entry fees of $100 per go-round. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times recorded for the contestants competition runs for the Levelland Stand Alone Steer Roping event will be used to determine the pay off. Pay off will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy event through PROCOM. 6% of the total amount will be held out for the PRCA prior to the pay off. There will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, Circuit Standings, All Around Standings, or for money won qualifications.
