ALL EVENTS - If a contestant notifies a turn-out prior to the 30-hour deadline for his scheduled competition time, turn-out fines will be waived, if and only if he is replaced. ALL CONTESTANTS - Current World Champions, former World Champions, or any contestant that is in the top ten standings are required to sign autographs for approximately 15 minutes just prior to the performance or at some time during the performance, or after the performance at the request of the committee. GB - Approved for first slack event after the performances in accordance with R4.9.4 . SR - Three go-rounds. Back to back to back. The first go-round of each “back to back” group will be run first in slack each day at 9 AM, and will be followed by the SW and TD slack. The second go-round for that group will be run after the SW and TD and will be followed by the TR slack. The top ten SR contestants based on the average after the first two go-rounds will compete during the performance that same night for their third go-round, and the remainder will run their third go-round during slack that same day after all other slack events are completed. $45 stock charge per go-round. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. The misdraw procedure will not be used. TD, SW, TR - There will be an additional $10 stock charge. QUALIFICATIONS: BB , SB - 48 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. BR - 60 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. TD, SW, TR - Two go-rounds. Back to back, slack to slack, or slack to performance. The first go- round of each “back to back” group will be run at 9 AM each day (Aug. 4-7). The ten contestants with fastest times from the first go- round will be placed in the performance that night (slowest time will run first, fastest time will run last). If splits result in more than ten, a random draw will determine which contestants will compete in the performance (will not exceed ten) and which will compete in slack. The order of competition of ties from the first go-round will also be determined by random draw. If there are not ten qualified times from the first go-round to fill the performance, the remaining positions will be filled by contestants based on the reverse order of their first go-round positions (Only contestants who competed in the first go-round will be placed in the performance). The remaining contestants (not placed in the performance) will run their second go-round in slack immediately following the completion of the first go-round in reverse order of their first go-round position. The order of the draw will be the same as the competition order. TE - If a timed event animal escapes during a performance (or a rerun is given for any other reason), the extra will be used. GROUND RULES: Contestants who choose to enter the Legacy Steer Roping event must be at least 50 years old at the time of entry closing. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Dalhart XIT Rodeo and Reunion. To be eligible, the contestant must be a card member (no permits) Contestants will pay entry fees of $200. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the Dalhart XIT Rodeo and Reunion will be used to determine the pay-off. Pay-off will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the pay-off. Only the two go- rounds and the average after two go- rounds will be included in the pay-off for the Legacy Steer Roping. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, circuit standings, All Around standings, or for money won qualifications. It will count towards qualifying for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals held in conjunction with the National Finals Steer Roping. (NFSR qualifiers will not be eligible for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals). STK.
