They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Lea County PRCA Rodeo. To be eligible, the contestant must not have been an NFSR qualifier during the past 3 years. Permit members of all ages are eligible to enter. Contestants will pay an additional entry fee of $300. Contestants will not compete on any additional steers. The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the Lea County PRCA Rodeo will be used to determine the payoff. Payoff will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the payoff. Only the three go- rounds and the average after three go- rounds will be included in the payoff for the Legacy Steer Roping. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. STK. If ties result in more than 10, a random draw will determine which contestants will compete in the performance (will not exceed 10) and which will compete in the slack.
