PRCA Business Journal - March 17, 2023
PAY-OFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. 25% of the remaining amount will be allocated to each of the first two go-rounds. 25% will be allocated to the finals and 25% will be allocated to the average. Each go-round and the average will pay 8 places. The finals will pay 4 places. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULE BOOK. In the event that there are not enough qualified rides in the first and/or second go-rounds, a random draw back list will be used to select contestants to fill the remaining positions in the finals. Contestants who did not have a qualified score in either the first or second go-round and are drawn back to compete in the finals, will not be eligible to place in the average. Money won by any contestant in the finals will count towards PRCA World Standings, Xtreme Bulls Standings, and Rookie of the Year Standings (provided the contestant has entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA Rodeos). NOTE: In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls Competitions to count for the 2023 National Finals Rodeo or the 2023 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2023 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for PRCA World Standings and Xtreme Bulls Standings. It will not count for All Around, or circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count.
