New B2.5.1.10 – Revoking Contract Personnel Card . When a Contract Personnel Director receives three valid complaints regarding a contract personnel member, the Contract Personnel Director may notify the member. After a third complaint is received, the members of the Contract Personnel Evaluation Committee, affiliated with the members endorsement, in addition to the Contract Personnel Director, will then decide if members card should be revoked. If revoked, the member must reapply and complete the evaluation process as outlined in Section B2.5.1 through B2.5.11 of these Bylaws to reclaim member card status. (CPEC 03/23) Change B2.5.5.3 Application . An Applicant for Nonconstant Card Member-Bullfighter status must submit a completed PRCA application to the PRCA. A minimum of three letters of recommendation must accompany the application, as specified hereafter: A minimum of two letters of recommendation must be from (a former NFR Bullfighter or Alternate, a former Top 5 Bullfighter of Year, a former NFR Barrelman or Alternate, a former Coors Man-in-the-Can Champion, a former Top 5 Coors Man-in-the-Can, a former PRCA World Champion Bullfighter, a former Bullfight Finals Qualifier or a former circuit finals bullfighter). A minimum of one letter of recommendation must be from a former Nationals Finals bull riding qualifier. Prospective Bullfighters must be reviewed and approved by the PRCA before the applicant will be considered for Permit Membership. A non-refundable $500 fee must be submitted to the PRCA with the membership application to defray the costs of the review. Applicant must provide a list of rodeos and/or bull riding events for evaluation. Upon evaluation and approval, applicant will be issued a Noncontestant PRCA Permit Membership. If denied, applicant must wait one year before applying again. (B. Jeanes 03/23/) Change B2.5.6.3 Application Applicants for Noncontestant Card Member-Announcer status must submit a completed PRCA application to the PRCA. At least three letters of recommendation must accompany the application, a minimum of one letter each from a qualified person in each group specified below: Prospective Announcers must be reviewed and approved by the PRCA before the applicant will be considered for permit membership. A nonrefundable $500 fee must be submitted to the PRCA with the membership application to defray the costs of the review. Applicant must provide a list of rodeos for evaluation. Upon evaluation and approval, applicant will be issued a Noncontestant PRCA Permit Membership . If approved, and if all other membership requirements are satisfied, an announcer applicant will be granted First-Year Announcer status. (CPEC 03/23) Change B2.5.6.5 Requirements to Become a Full Announcer . New announcers will become full announcers after the first Dues Paying Year. Surveys sent to the 5 PRCA rodeos completed by applicant will serve as the applicant’s review for a membership card. The Contract Personnel Executive Council will review the surveys after the 5 PRCA rodeos or at the end of the PRCA season; whichever comes first, and vote on full membership status of the applicant, with a simple majority vote determining if membership is approved or denied. (CPEC 03/23) New B2.5.6.6 Minimum Contracts. The Announcer Permit Member can work on their permit until completing 5 PRCA rodeos or until the end of the PRCA season. Surveys will be sent to the Stock Contractor, Contract Personnel, and Rodeo Committee Chairman the applicant worked with at each of the 5 PRCA rodeos. These surveys will be kept on file until completion of 5 PRCA rodeos or until the end of the PRCA season. (CPEC 03/23) Group 1 (a former): NFR, NFSR, or NFBR Announcer, or Top 5 PRCA Announcer of the Year in the past 10 years. Group 2 (a former): NFR Barrelman or alternate, or Top 5 PRCA Clown of the Year in the past 10 years. Group 3 (a former): Top 5 PRCA Dress Specialty Act of the Year or Top 5 PRCA Comedy Special Act of the year in the past 10 years
