Roundup, or rodeo in general that contestant will not be accepted as an entry at the Red Buff Roundup in 2022 and 2023. SCORELINES : SW - 15 ft. TR - 18ft., electric eye will be used in TR. TE - If a timed event animal escapes or a rerun in awarded for any other reason, the extra will be used. Only escapes animals go back into the herd. TD, SW, TR - If there are not enough contestants in the current year circuit money category to fill the allotted circuit positions, the remaining positions will be filled with contestants from the previous year circuit money won category. STALLS - Can be reserved and prepaid by calling 530.527.1000. QUALIFICATIONS: BB - 45 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. SB , BR - 60 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. TD, SW, TR - 75 minimum entries (or teams). Two complete go-rounds will be run in slack on Wed., April 14th and Thurs., April 15th. The top 24 (plus splits), based on fastest time in the average from the first and second go- rounds, will advance to a progressive go-round held during the third performance. The deadline for “walk- up replacement” will be one hour prior to the performance. The alternate list will be based on 2018 PRCA World Standings. The alternate will compete on the animal that is drawn for the contestant the he is replacing. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. ALL EVENTS - Re-entries will be accepted on Mon., Feb., 25 between 9 AM and 12 PM for any available positions. TRADE DEADLINE - Fri., Feb., 22 at 5 PM. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB, BR - 24 minimum entries (12 per performance). No compensation. No slack. (See R1.2.13.4. and R1.2.14 for qualifications). One go-round with the first and second place contestants each performance advancing to a bonus round during that same performance. If the first and/or second place contestant declines advancement to the bonus round, the contestant with the next highest score will advance (if the next highest score is tied, a flip of a coin will determine who advances). If there are 8 or less entries per performance at the time that the entries close, the committee has the option to cancel the event or have two go-rounds, back to back, same performance. PAY-OFF: The long go-round will be paid off per the rulebook. $1,000 per performance will be held out of the total purse for the bonus round(s). Winner takes all in the bonus round(s). If there are no qualified rides in an event in the bonus round, $500 (of the $1,000) will be added back to the pay- off for the long go-round, and $500 will be split between the two qualifiers for the bonus round. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn 3 hours prior to each performance by the judges. Re-rides and the re-ride order will be designated by the stock contractor.
