WTR INDIANAPOLIS IN NOVEMBER 1-2 CINCH WORLD’S TOUGHEST RODEO ARENA: Indiana Farmers Coliseum ADDRESS: 1202 E. 38th Street PERFS: 2 Perfs: November 1-6:30 PM; November 2-6:30 PM EVENTS: BB SB BR @ $10000 SPECIAL ENTRY FEES: BB-$100; SB-$100; BR- $100 PERMITS: BB SB BR GROUND RULES: ALL EVENTS - The “30 hour replacement” and “walk-up replacement” policies will be in effect. The deadline for “walk up replacement” will be one hour prior to the performance. The alternate list will be based on 2023 PRCA World Standings. The alternate will compete on the animal that is drawn for the contestant that he is replacing. ALL EVENTS - Re-entries will be accepted on Wed., October 25 between 9 AM and 12 PM for any available positions. TRADE DEADLINE - Tues., Oct. 24 at 5 PM. All confirmed trades will be final and will be processed immediately after both involved parties have confirmed through PROCOM. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB, BR - 24 minimum entries (12 per performance). No compensation. No slack. Qualifications will be 70% from 2023 PRCA World Standings, 20% from 2023 Circuit Standings, and 10% random draw. One go- round with the first and second place contestants each performance advancing to a bonus round during that same performance. If the first and/or second place contestant declines advancement to the bonus round, the contestant with the next highest score will advance (if the next highest score is tied, a flip of a coin will determine who advances). If there are 8 or less entries per performance at the time that the entries close, the committee has the option to cancel the event or have two go-rounds, back-to-back, same performance. PAY-OFF: The long go-round will be paid off per the rulebook. $1,000 per performance will be held out of the total purse for the bonus round(s). Winner takes all in the bonus round(s). If there are no qualified rides in an event in the bonus round, $500 (of the $1,000) will be added back to the pay-off for the long go-round, and $500 will be split between the two qualifiers for the bonus round and will be considered ground money. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn 3 hours prior to each performance by the judges. Re-rides and the re-ride order will be designated by the stock contractor. Any animal turned-out in a performance will automatically become the first re-ride prior to using the designated re-rides. If more than one animal is turned-out in a performance, a random draw will determine which animal will be the first re-ride. The bonus round stock will be designated by the stock contractor and no re-rides will be given during the bonus round. NOTE: In order for money won at this event to count for qualifying for the 2024 National Finals Rodeo or the 2024 Rookie of the Year Standings, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos during the 2024 rodeo year. There will be no additional entry fees for the permit bareback riders. The permit contestants will not compete on any additional animals. The scores recorded on the animal drawn for competition for the Brookings rodeo will be used to determine the payoff for the Brookings Horizon Permit Bareback Riding. The number of places paid and the percentages will be in accordance with the PRCA Rule Book. Money won in the Horizon Permit Bareback Riding event will count towards filling a permit, Circuit Standings, and “money won” qualifications.
