That changed in a big way Aug. 16 for bareback rider Ma son Yancy in the short round of the storied Idaho rodeo. Yancy, 21, made the eight-second ride aboard Powder River Rodeo's Heads Up Hank for 84.5 points to win the two-head average with 171.5 points. "I got on that horse (Heads Up Hank) a week ago in Grace, Idaho, and he yanked my teeth out," Yancy said. "I was not excited to get on him again, if I'm being honest with you. I was a little nervous but knew I had to be way more aggressive with him. … It felt like a dogfight." BAREBACK RIDER MASON YANCY
