If a tie exists after the Showdown contestants have competed once, there will be either a ride-off or run- off (depending on event) between the tied contestants to determine the Champion. In the roughstock events, if a ride-off is required, any animals that were drawn as re-rides for the Finals and were not used will automatically be used as the ride-off animals. In the timed events, if a run- off is required, the designated spares will be used as tiebreaker animals. If a tie still exists after a ride off/run off contestants will be Co-Champions. STK. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT - 50 minimum entries. (May be two go-rounds, back to back, same performance, depending on the number of entries). If 2 go-rounds the number of contestants accepted during the re-entry period will not exceed one half the original limit. CONTESTANT SELECTIONS FORMULAS DIV 2: - 70% top money, - 30% top circuit. NOTIFY PROCOM - Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2018 rodeo year, unless the contestant qualifies for a medical exemption. Contestants claiming medical exemptions must have been injured at least six (6) months during the 2018 rodeo year. Contestant must not have entered and paid fees at more than twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos or events held during the 2018 rodeo year. A letter from a licensed physician on doctor’s letterhead bearing the doctor’s name, address and phone number, must be received by the PRCA National Office prior to entry opening. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. CHECK-IN - Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. on 2019 money won (as of 7 days prior to entry closing). Only contestants that were drawn out due to qualifications or conflicts will be selected as alternates. Contestants who are placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the Xtreme Bulls event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at the time of entry may check- in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant notifies a turn-out and is replaced by an alternate, the alternate contestant will be responsible for the entry fees. The rodeo will not count toward the official rodeo count for the turned-out contestant. If the contestant that notified the turn-out is not replaced by an alternate, he will be responsible for the entry fees and the rodeo will count towards the official rodeo count. Any non-notified turn-out will be responsible for entry fees and the rodeo will count towards the official rodeo count, even if he is replaced. The alternate will also be responsible for entry fees. If a contestant properly doctors releases, he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re-ride(s). PAY-OFF - 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. Pay-off will be determined on highest marked scores. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULEBOOK. NOTE - In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls competition (including Division 2 qualifying events) to count for the 2019 National Finals Rodeo or the 2019 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2019 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for PRCA World Standings and Xtreme Bulls Standings. It will not count for All Around standings, circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count. All confirmed trades will be final and will be processed immediately after both involved parties have confirmed through PROCOM. ALL CONTESTANTS WITH HORSES - Must have proof of current Coggins Test and health papers. TD, SW, TR - Two go-rounds. Back to back. The first go-round of each back to back group will be run during slack at 8:00 AM each morning (June 26-29). The contestants with the top 12 fastest times from the first go-round will be placed in the performance (slowest time will run first, fastest time will run last). The number of contestants placed in the performance will not exceed 12. If splits result in more than 12, a random draw will determine which contestants will compete in the performance and which will compete in the slack. The order of competition of ties from the first go-round will also be determined by random draw. If there are not 12 qualified times from the first go-round to fill the performance, the remaining positions will be filled by contestants based on the reverse order of their first go-round positions (only contestants who competed in the first go-round will be placed in the performances). The remaining contestants (not placed in the performance) will run their second go-round in reverse order of their first go-round positions. The order of the draw will be the same as the competition order. The second go- round will begin the slack, immediately following the competition of the first go-round. SCORELINES - SW - 20.5’; SW - 16’; TR - 24’; SR - 20’. TR, SR - Electric eye will be used. If electric eye malfunctions, judges have the option to use a hand pull barrier . SR - Two go-rounds plus a progressive. The first and second go-rounds will be run Tues., June 25 at 5:00 PM. The top 40 after the first two go-rounds will advance to a progressive go-round held during the performances (10 per perf). Contestants may trade in progressive round. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. (The misdraw procedure will not be used.) $45 stock charge per go-round. Contestants who qualify for the progressive go- round will be responsible to pay an additional $45 stock charge for the progressive go-round. QUALIFICATIONS: BB, SB - 48 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. BR - 80 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack.
