Any non- notified turn-out will be responsible for entry fees and the rodeo will count towards the official rodeo count, even if he is replaced. The alternate will also be responsible for entry fees. If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the vent be applied to his official rodeo count. STOCK DRAW: Selection of bulls for the finals will be accomplished by mutual agreement among the event representative or his duly designated appointee, the primary stock contractor, and a judge designated by the Supervisor of Pro Officials. Contestants who qualify for the finals may be requested by the committee to draw their own animal from a hat containing poker chips inscribed with animals’ numbers in the arena or other designated area prior to the finals. This determination may be based on production factors. FINALS STOCK - The order of the bulls to be used in the finals will be designated by the event representative and listed in order on the judges’ sheets prior to the first go-round of competition. the contestant with the lowest score will be listed first and the contestant with the highest score will be listed last with an animal already designated to the position. The order of any ties will be determined by a random draw by the judges. RE-RIDES - After all replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) will be used as re-rides prior to using the designated re- ride(s). PAY-OFF: 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. Pay-off will be determined on highest marked scores. 30% of the total purse will be allocated to the long go-round, pays 8 places. 20% of the total purse will be allocated to the final go-round, pays 6 places. 50% of the total purse will be allocated to the average, pays 8 places. (If two go-rounds pay-off will be per rulebook). ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULEBOOK. In the event that there are not enough qualified rides in the first go-round, a random draw back list will be used to select contestants to fill the remaining positions in the finals. Contestants who did not have a qualified score in the first go-round and are drawn back to compete in the finals, will not be eligible to place in the average. Money won by any contestant in the finals will count toward PRCA World standings (provided the contestant has entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos), Xtreme Bulls Tour standings, and Rookie of the Year standings. Money won by a drawn back contestant in the finals will not count toward the All Around standings, All American standings, circuit standings, or toward a circuit rodeo count. NOTE - In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls competition (including Division 2 qualifying events) to count for the 2018 National Finals Rodeo or the 2018 Rookie of the year Standing, during the 2018 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won will count for PRCA World Standings and Xtreme Bulls Standings. It will not count for All Around standings, All American standings, circuit standings or towards a circuit rodeo count. CONTESTANTS - Maximum 20 entries. One go- round with a (top 6) brought back to short go. If there are not 6 qualified rides during the first go-round, all remaining positions will be filled by random draw. If the 6th place is tied going into the finals, the tie will be broken by random draw. In the event that there are not enough qualified rides in the first go-round, a random draw back list will be used to select contestants to fill the remaining positions in the finals. Contestants who did not have a qualified score in the first go-round and are drawn back to compete in the finals, will not be eligible to place in the aggregate. If there are less than 14 entries, format will be 2 go-rounds and an aggregate. QUALIFICATIONS: Based on 2018 CPRA/PRCA standings as of Aug. 6, 2018. TURN OUT/ALTERNATE PROCEDURE: Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry but were drawn out will be added to an alternate list. These contestants will be notified of any turn-outs or doctor releases and be given the option of re- entry up to the 3 hours prior to rodeo turn out deadline. ALTERNATE LIST: Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may in person check with the rodeo secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, by random draw of all walk ups available, an alternate will assume the competition positions of the contestant that he is replacing, in the rough stock they will draw stock from a pool of animals consisting of all turned out stock for that performance and all re-ride stock for that performance. *If a contestant notifies a turn-out, DR or visible release and is replaced by an alternate, the alternate contestant will be responsible for the entry fees. If the contestant that notified the turnout or visible release is not replaced by an alternate, he will be responsible for the entry fee. If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees. NOTE - In order for money won at this event to count for qualifications for the 2018 National Finals Rodeo or the 2018 Rookie of the Year Standings, a contestant must have entered and competed in the BB event at a minimum of 40 PRCA rodeos during the 2018 season.
