INDUCTION CEREMONY

Kristie Peterson “Rodeo is a roller-coaster, and my family and all the people in Elbert, Colo., (Peterson’s hometown) were on that roller-coaster with me. We were like the hillbillies that would come to the NFR, my kids would come. Now I have eight grandchildren, all girls except one boy. This award means a lot so that they can look back and be proud and have a career with horses.”

French Flash Hawk (Bozo)

BillieMcBride “The memory of a Texas girl who rode her beloved Zombie into the record books six decades ago will shine forever as one of the bright spots in the WPRA. Thank you again, WPRA, the Hall of Fame and PRCA for helping preserve her memory. I guarantee she’s on Cloud 9 today.” –Alva Jean Meek, McBride’s daughter

“Bozo was not an easy horse, he was arrogant. He believed his way was the only way, and Kristie (Peterson) had the wisdom to respect his personality. He would run in any type of arena, weather condition and give 100 percent in every run. They were a true team.” –Elisabeth Hollmann, Bozo’s original owner
