See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. TRADE DEADLINE - Mon., Jan. 28 at 5 PM. All confirmed trades will be final and will be processed immediately after both involved parties have confirmed through PROCOM. ALL CONTESTANTS WITH HORSES - Must have proof of current Coggins Test and health papers. CONTESTANT PARKING - VIP contestant parking on east side of Foster Communications Coliseum. ALL EVENTS - Back numbers will be required to be worn during performances. ALL EVENTS - “No conflict” will be guaranteed between positions at San Antonio and San Angelo if possible. As long as the contestant does not create the conflict by requesting conflicting preferences. A contestants should not use the “No Same Day” preference in this instance unless he wants the possibility of being drawn out. BB, SB, BR - Re-rides will be drawn for each performance and a pool will be established by the stock contractor and approved by the event representatives for additional re-rides if needed. TE - All timed events, slack and performances will be held in the coliseum. TE - If a timed event animal escapes during a performance (or a re-run is given for any other reason), the extra will be used. Only escaped animals go back into the herd. SLACK ORDER - TR, SW, TD. ALL CONTESTANTS - Free stalls 1st come, 1st serve basis. RV hook-ups available on a limited basis. QUALIFICATIONS: BB & SB - 100 minimum entries. No compensation. W/F’s (12). $5000 held out for finals. No slack. BB - Possibility of two go-rounds depending on the number of entries. If two go-rounds, back to back, perf. to perf. BR - 120 minimum entries. No compensation. No slack. W/F’s (12). $5000 held out for finals. EF’s $100 plus $100 DM if 1, $200 plus $100 DM ($50 each go-round) if 2. TD, SW - 180 minimum entries. TR - 140 minimum entries. TD, TR - Two go-rounds, with a finals (12). Back to back, perf. to perf. or slack to slack. The slacks are on Mon., Feb. 4 and Tues., Feb. 5. The top 30 that enter from 2018 money won and the top 10 that enter from 2019 money won will be placed in the first 8 performances. These contestants will only be allowed first go-round trades with other contestants that were placed in the first 8 performances. The remainder will be placed either in the slack or the 9th and 10th performances. Back to back. The number of steers used will be one half the number of contestants plus adequate extras. The top 15 from 2018 money won that enter and their buddy groups will be placed in the first 8 performances (buddy groups will not be split). The remainder of contestants will be placed in the 9th and 10th performances and slack after the 9th and 10th performances on Feb. 13 and Feb. 14, the slacks on Feb. 4 and Feb. 5, or any of the other 8 remaining performances that do not fill to at least 10 per performance. In SW, contestants who were originally placed in the first 8 performances, will only be allowed to trade with other contestants who were originally placed in the first 8 performances, and contestants who were placed in the slacks or the 9th and 10 performances, will only be allowed to trade with contestants who were placed in the slack or the TE - No extras will be run during the performances. ALL CONTESTANTS - If a contestant who qualifies for the finals notifies a turn-out, doctor’s release or visible injury release through PROCOM, the contestant 9th and 10th performances. TR - Only two loops allowed.

If the first and/or second place contestant declines advancement to the bonus round, the contestant with the next highest score will advance (if the next highest score is tied, a flip of a coin will determine who advances). If there are 8 or less entries per performance at the time that the entries close, the committee has the option to cancel the event or have two go-rounds, back to back, same performance. PAY-OFF: The long go-round will be paid off per the rulebook. $1,000 per performance will be held out of the total purse for the bonus round(s). Winner takes all in the bonus round(s). If there are no qualified rides in an event in the bonus round, $500 (of the $1,000) will be added back to the pay- off for the long go-round, and $500 will be split between the two qualifiers for the bonus round. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn 3 hours prior to each performance by the judges. Re-rides and the re-ride order will be designated by the stock contractor. Any animal turned-out in a performance will automatically become the first re-ride prior to using the designated re-rides. If more than one animal is turned-out in a performance, a random draw will determine which animal will be the first re-ride. The bonus round stock will be designated by the stock contractor and no re-rides will be given during the bonus round for inferior performance. In order for money won at this event to count for qualifying for the 2019 National Finals Rodeo or the 2019 Rookie of the Year Standings, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos. Money won at this event will not count for All Around Standings, circuit standings, or towards a circuit rodeo participation count. ARENA: McAlester Expo Center ADDRESS: 4500 W. In the riding events, if an animal has already been drawn for a contestant who has turned- out, the replacement contestant will draw an animal form a pool consisting of all animals that have been turned-out (includes DR’s and VIR’s) and the first available designated re-ride. ALL CONTESTANTS - Re-entries will be accepted for available positions on Fri., Feb. 1 between 9 AM and 11 AM. See Rodeo Entry Information page of the business journal. GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after entries close. COMPETITION FORMAT - 40 minimum entries. May be two go-rounds, back to back, same performance depending on the number of entries. If two go-rounds, the number of contestants accepted during the re- entry period will not exceed on half the original limit. IN ORDER OF SELECTION : 70% top money - 30% top circuit. NOTIFY PROCOM - Notification must be made at the time of entry if claiming an exemption from qualification. Anyone claiming an exemption must have entered and paid fees at a minimum of twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2018 rodeo year, unless the contestant qualifies for a medical exemption. Contestants claiming medical exemptions must have been injured at least six (6) months during the 2018 rodeo year. Contestant must not have entered and paid fees at more than twenty (20) PRCA sanctioned rodeos held during the 2018 rodeo year. A letter from a licensed physician on doctor’s letterhead bearing the doctor’s name, address and phone number must be received by the PRCA National Office prior to entry opening. A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Bulls Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the X-Bulls Event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so will result in an alternate contestant being selected and allowed to compete. ALTERNATES: Alternates will be selected from a list established by PROCOM based on 2018 money won. (Only contestants that were drawn out due to qualifications or conflicts will be selected as alternates). A contestant who is placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event on the same day as the Xtreme Bulls Event will not be eligible to be used as an alternate. Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may check-in with or call the venue secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant.
