So, on a mild, late-spring weekday morning in Las Vegas, there were Tyler Waguespack, Hailey Kinsel,

Caleb Smidt, and Clay Smith and Paul Eaves—world champion steer wrestler, barrel racer, tie-down roper and team ropers, respectively—gal- loping down the Las Vegas Strip as the heroes of the Las Vegas Metro- politan Police Department stopped traffic. All the while, Dale Brisby, ro- deo’s pseudo pied piper, was there to chronicle the moment for his legion of social media followers.
