He then met SusanWoodward and they were married in 1988. They had a wonderful adventurous life traveling extensively with trips that included Africa and Spain for the bullfights. They were annual visitors to the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas every December. Hitchcock is survived by his wife Susan; his daughters Carol Hitchcock, Kathryn Weaver (Bob) and five grandchildren; Dan ( Jenni), Matthew and Kathryn Samsill, Michael ( Jaime) and ElizabethWeaver along with two great grandchildren, Lucas Samsill and Whitney Weaver. A service will be held on Saturday, July 24 at 10:30 a.m. (PDT) at Desert Mission United Methodist Church 7373 E. Dixileta Dr., Scottsdale, 85266. EDWARD B. HITCHCOCK

Edward B Hitchcock, a PRCA Gold Card member and founding member of the Cave Creek (Ariz.) Rodeo, passed away on July 8, 2021. He was 89. Hitchcock enlisted in the Air Force in 1949, which led him to meet June Bain at a USO dance in Albuquerque. They were married in El Paso, Texas in 1952. With the loving support and guidance of June, Ed began his long, successful career in the car business.
