SANTOS CLAIMS ALL-AROUND California cowboy Taylor Santos claimed the all-around title in Woodward after earning $3,754. Santos has competed at the NFR in tie-down roping (2019) but is sitting good for a first appearance at the National Finals Steer Roping following his reserve title in Oklahoma. As of June 22, he was eighth in the steer roping world standings. ELDRIDGE RIDES BENZ TO WIN Steer wrestler Dakota Eldridge had a hot weekend, which included a win in Woodward. He borrowed a ride on Clayton Hass’ horse Benz. (Hass took third.) Benz carried the two cowboys to earnings of $5,880.

Bull rider Maverick Potter earned $3,571 thanks to his 86.5-point ride on Beutler & Son Rodeo’s Fake Friend at the Woodward (Okla.) Elks Rodeo June 11.
