As the bull came down, his back right foot landed in the middle of Bingham’s chest. Bingham suffered a concussion, nine broken ribs, a bruised heart and lungs, and a broken sternum. “I had never been on Spotted Demon, but if I could’ve hand-picked a bull at the NFR it would have been him,” said Bingham, 27. “I don’t remember anything that happened. If I had to think about it really hard, I can remember everything that happened up to Sage (Kimzey’s) ride that night. When everybody talks about the NFR in 2020, I’m kind of slow bringing my memories back.”

opportunity to make it a ride to remember. Unfortunately for Bingham, he doesn’t remember anything about that ride at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Moments after leaving the chutes, Bingham lost control and was launched forward. He collided headfirst with Spotted Demon’s skull, sending Bingham’s helmet flying. Bingham fell to the ground unconscious.
