BY TRACY RENCK N ot long after bull rider Clayton Sellars’ Petri. Sellars and Petri were entered in the Santa Maria (Calif.) Elks Rodeo in May 2018. But the two bull riders didn’t have an easy method of getting to the central part of the state. We had a 6 o’clock flight out of L.A. the next morning. After the rodeo, we drove back to L.A. We parked the truck in the parking lot of an In- N-Out Burger. We ate some In-N-Out Burger and slept in the U-Haul for a couple of hours.” Sellars, not quite 20 at the time, had to return the U-Haul around 4 a.m., which he did, or so he thought. “The procedure is when you turn the U-Haul truck after hours you drop the keys in the little drop box and you’re good,” Sellars said. “We didn’t know that. It was the first time we ever rented a U-Haul. We pull in the parking lot and there was this man standing there and
