The four-day rodeo, featuring the top 10 contestants in each event from the 2019 Maple Leaf Circuit standings, runs Nov. 27-30, 2019, at Regina’s Evraz Place. The exhibit showcases a sampling of pieces from many of the permanent collections the Hall has, including Hall milestones such as Opening Day Celebration Aug. 6, 1979, and “The Champ” statue dedication Aug. 10, 1989; and a range of rodeo memorabilia, such as photos dating back to 1919 from the Panoramic Photo Collection and artwork from the Chris LeDoux Collection. Announcer Bob Tallman gets NBC Nightly News feature In a half century of announcing, Bob Tallman has seen and done plenty. He’s been in the ProRodeo Hall of Fame since 2004. The 71-year-old from Poolville, Texas, who has announced more than two dozen Wrangler National Finals Rodeos, was featured recently in a piece on NBC’s “Nightly News.” Tallman was announcing the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show in Fort Worth, Texas, during the segment.
