BY MATT NABER T eam roping brothers Cooper and Tucker White have several reasons to be thankful after winning the RAMBadlands Circuit Finals Rodeo and the year-end title. “I’d like to extend a thank you to the Badlands Rodeo Committee,” Tucker said. “They decided the rodeo needed to happen no matter what, and they got the sponsorship money and everything put together from ground zero, and we really appreciate it. It was a great production and went off without a hitch like nothing ever went wrong. It’s always fun to have Bob Tallman call your name.” Not only did the rodeo nearly get canceled, it was also held in a

home arena after it for practice in Hershey, Neb. “We hadn’t had much luck there before so it was cool to get over the hump in that building and win some good money,” said Cooper, 23. “That might mean more to us than anything, doing well in that building means a lot to me for sure.” This year marked the brothers’ fourth time competing at the RAM BCFR. “We were determined to try to win that deal since our traveling partners Trae Smith and Jon Peterson won it (the year-end title) last year, and we’re great friends with them, but it’s like if they can do it then surely we can do it,” Cooper said.
