SPECIAL ENTRY FEES: Saginaw-$650; Decatur-$300 PERMITS: SR GROUND RULES: GRACE PERIOD - Will expire one hour after the entries close . Saginaw (May 26): 45 entries. The top 30 in the 2019 PRCA Steer Roping Standings that enter (as of 7 days prior to entry closing) will be accepted and placed in the performance at Saginaw on May 26 (These contestants will not be allowed to compete in the qualifying event at Decatur). All other entries will be placed in the qualifying event at Decatur, TX on May 24. Fifteen contestants will advance from the qualifying event at Decatur to the performance at Saginaw and will be randomly placed among the 30 contestant that were originally accepted. There will be three go-rounds with a top 12 finals. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. The misdraw procedure will not be used. Stock charge will be $45 per go-round. Entry fees will be $650. Decatur (May 24): The qualifying event at Decatur will consist of three go-rounds. The top 3 (plus splits) from each of the three go-rounds will advance. Any remaining positions, not to exceed 15, will be the contestants with the fastest times in the average from the three go-rounds who have not already qualified from the go-round placings. Extras will be used to replace sick or injured animals. The misdraw procedure will not be used. Stock charge will be $45 per go-round. Entry fees for the qualifying event in Decatur will be $300. (If a contestant competes at both Decatur and Saginaw, his entry fees will be $300 plus $650 plus stock charges and Procom fees.) Contestants are required to enter and compete at a minimum of 15 PRCA rodeos in the SR event during the 2019 rodeo year in order for money won at this event to count towards 2019 World Standings or the 2019 Rookie of the Year Standings. Money won will count towards circuit standings and towards a circuit participation count (Saginaw and Decatur will count as one toward a circuit participation count). Money won at this event will not count towards All Around Standings. Payoff: $1,000 (of the $11,000 total added purse) will be combined with the entry fees for the Decatur qualifying event. The payoff will be according to the PRCA Rule Book. The remaining $10,000 of the total added purse will be combined with the entry fees for the Saginaw for the Saginaw payoff. This payoff will also be according to the PRCA Rule Book. approximately 10 contestants in each bracket. Three brackets (30 contestants) will consist of contestants who qualified through “money won” qualifications (80% top money, 20% top circuit). The other three brackets (30 contestants) will consists of all permit holders, and first year card members who did not qualify in the other three brackets as “money won” qualifiers. Any remaining positions in these three brackets will be filled by random draw of contestants who entered and were not accepted for the first three (“money won”) brackets. The top two contestants from each bracket will advance to a finals. PAY-OFF: 6% of the total purse ($10,000 added purse plus entry fees) is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. Of the remaining amount, two thirds will be allocated to the pay-off for the 6 brackets, and one third will be allocated to the finals. Each bracket will pay two places (60%/40%). The finals will pay four places (40%, 30%, 20%, 10%). There will be no average pay-off. ALL CONTESTANTS - A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an X-Broncs Event if he is already placed in a position at another PRCA rodeo or event that has a same performance conflict with the X-Broncs event. ALL CONTESTANTS - The “30-hour replacement” and “walk-up replacement” policies will be in effect. The check-in deadline for alternates to be considered as walk-up replacement will be one hour prior to the start of the event. CHECK-IN: Contestants must check-in or notify arena secretary one hour prior to the start of the event. Failure to do so may result in an alternate being selected and allowed to compete. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per rulebook. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant who turns-out after stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. NOTE: Money won at X-Brocs Events will count towards X-Broncs Standings which will be considered for qualifying for the finale in Rapid City, August 22, 2019. It will count towards qualifications for the 2019 National Finals Rodeo and the 2019 Rookie of the Year Standings as long as the contestant has entered and competed in a minimum of 40 PRCA rodeos. Money won will also count for Circuit Standings as long as the contestant has satisfied his required circuit participation count. X-Broncs events are not applied to the required circuit participation count. Money won at this event will not count towards All Around Standings. STK. CONT.: VARIOUS
