GROUND RULES: Contestants who choose to enter the Legacy Steer Roping event must be at least 50 years old at the time of entry closing. They must also be entered in the steer roping event at the Yuma County Fair & Rodeo. To be eligible, the contestant must be a card member (no permits) and must have entered and competed in the steer roping event at a minimum of 7 PRCA rodeos (or events) during the 2018 rodeo year and the 2019 rodeo year combined (as of entry closing time). The times that are recorded for the contestants’ competition runs at the Yuma County Fair & Rodeo will be used to determine the pay-off. Pay-off will only include the entry fees for the contestants who entered the Legacy Steer Roping through PROCOM. 6% will be held out of the total amount for the PRCA prior to the pay-off. Only the two go- rounds and the average after two go- rounds will be included in the pay-off for the Legacy Steer Roping. There will be no additional added money and since no additional animals will be run, there will be no additional stock charge or PROCOM charge. Money won in the Legacy Steer Roping will not count towards PRCA World Standings, circuit standings, All Around standings, or for money won qualifications. It will count towards qualifying for the Legacy Steer Roping Finals held in conjunction with the National Finals Steer Roping. assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing and if stock has been drawn, he will receive the stock drawn by that contestant. If a contestant turns-out (notified or non- notified) or VIR’s he will be responsible to pay entry fees whether he is replaced or not. The alternate contestant will also be responsible to pay entry fees. Also, if a contestant turns-out of an X-Bulls event and is not replaced, he will receive a $250 fine (does not include DR’s and VIR’s). If a contestant properly doctor releases he will not be responsible for entry fees nor will the event be applied to his official rodeo count. STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rule book. The event will count towards the official rodeo count for any contestant that turns out after stock callbacks, whether that contestant is replaced or not. Contestants who qualify for the finals may be requested by the committee to draw their own animal form a hat containing poker chips inscribed with animals’ numbers in the arena or other designated area prior to the finals. This determination may be based on production factors. FINALS STOCK - The order of the bulls to be used in the finals of an Xbulls Event will be designated by the event representative and listed in order on the judges sheets prior to the first go- round of competition. The contestant with the lowest score will be listed first and the contestant with the highest score will be listed last with an animal already designated to that position. The order of any ties will be determined by a random draw by the judges. HONEST EFFORT - At any Division 1 Xtreme Bull Riding Event, a contestant must make an honest effort to compete on the stock drawn for such contestant. If in the opinion of the Pro Official, the contestant has the opportunity to nod for the bull and does not, the contestant will be disqualified and suspended for the next two Division 1 Xtreme Bull Riding Events. The determination of the Pro Official will be final. In addition to the disqualification, the fine will progressively double for each reoccurring offense. RE-RIDES - All replacements have been made, any remaining available animals that were notified as turned-out (including DR’s and VIR’s) will be used prior to using the designated re- ride(s). PAY-OFF - 6% of the total purse is to be deducted prior to the pay-off and sent in with the results. Pay-off will be determined on highest marked scores. 30% of the total purse will be allocated to the long go-round, pays 8 places, 20% of the total purse will be allocated to the final go-round, pays 6 places, 50% of the total purse will be allocated to the average, pays 8 places. ALL PERCENTAGES WILL BE DIVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULEBOOK. In the event that there are not enough qualified rides in the first go-round a random draw back list will be used to select contestants to fill the remaining positions in the finals. Contestants who did not have a qualified score in the first go-round and are drawn back to compete in the finals, will not be eligible to place in the average. Money won by any contestant in the finals will count toward PRCA World standings (provided the contestant has entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos), Xtreme Bulls Tour standings, and Rookie of the Year standings. Money won by a drawn back contestant in the finals will not count toward All Around standings, All American standings, circuit standings, or toward a circuit rodeo count. NOTE - In order for money won in Xtreme Bulls competition (including Division 2 qualifying events) to count for the 2019 National Finals Rodeo or the 2019 Rookie of the Year Standings, during the 2019 season, a contestant must have entered and competed at a minimum of forty (40) PRCA rodeos.
