JERRY MARILUCH Jerry Dean Mariluch, a clown/bullfighter, passed July 15, in Reno, Nev. He was 71, He was born June 9, 1953, in Elko, Nev., and became a rodeo clown/bullfighter in PRCA from 1970 to 1993. Mariluch worked rodeos primarily in the western United States with his donkey Boracho. He also traveled to Taiwan with Bob Cook’s Rodeo Stock Contractors, Inc. (RSC) in the late 1970s under the American Rodeo Show name. While there, American members had to learn other things to make a full show. Mariluch learned to do tricks on the flying trapeze. He attended all Rodeo Clown Reunions until 1994 when he was involved in a serious vehicle accident, and it was necessary that he be taken care of by a legal guardian Loni Legarza. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, John and Charles; wife, Yvonne; son, Sage, and daughter, Jaycee. He is survived by his sister, Chrys (Brad) Roberts, and brother, Alkie (Ginni) Mariluch; daughter Brandi Elquist, and grandchildren, Riley and Marlee. He requested no memorial service.
