Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Charles Floyd Rumford, Jr. Tommy is survived by his daughter, Tamara Rumford; mother, Lola M. Rumford; brother, Bronc; and grandchildren, Hendrix Smith and Hadley Vander May. Memorials are suggested to the Abbyville Community Church, Abbyville Booster Club, or DaVita Dialysis Center of Hutchinson, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kan., 67501.

THOMAS (TOMMY) LYNN RUMFORD Thomas ‘Tommy’ Lynn Rumford, who co-owned Rumford Rodeo Company, and was involved with the sport of rodeo his entire life, passed away Oct. 19 inWichita, Kan. He was 68. Rumford, whose older brother Bronc was named the recipient of the 2022 Donita Barnes Lifetime Achievement, worked with the timed event crew at the National Finals Rodeo for more than two decades.
